Module 3: Respect the Family’s Role in the Child’s Development

In this module, you will learn about the process and development of relationships, and strategies to support conversations with families about their child’s development.

Module Outline

  • Unit 1: Respect the Family’s Role in the Child’s Development
    In this interactive simulation, learners can practice strategies by virtually engaging with a family through exploring the child’s development. Estimated time to complete: 1 professional development clock hour.
  • Unit 2: Practice: Respect the Family’s Role
    In this simulation interaction, learners can practice strategies by virtually engaging with a family through exploring the child’s development. Estimated time to complete: 0.5 professional development clock hour.
  • Unit 3: Practice: Engaging Families
    In this interactive simulation, learners can virtually role-play a conversation with a family regarding a developmental concern. Learners can practice strategies by choosing what to say to the family and observing how the family responds. Estimated time to complete: 1 professional development clock hour.
