Process to Outreach/Onboard Programs and Providers
As a frontier county, we have capitalized on existing relationships and have onboarded all California State Preschool Programs (CSPPs), all Head Start programs, and nearly all licensed child care centers. In addition, we have onboarded several family child care homes and alternative sites based on our current capacity. Eligibility is based on first come, first served basis and current capacity. Our most effective strategies are word of mouth and existing relationships. Programs can start as soon as there is an opening and begin to participate fully.
Quality Improvement Program Support Strategies
All sites are provided coaching, technical assistance, local and regional trainings, and incentivized trainings.
Local Approach to Offering Financial Incentives and Stipends
Based on individualized program goals, each site receives financial and technical assistance incentives and stipends.
